Wildlife Control Operator
Tanya L. Clark is a Wildlife Control Operator with Southern Wildlife Resources, based in Lawrenceburg. Before joining SWR, she served with the Kentucky State Police, retiring at the rank of lieutenant after 20 years with the agency. After retirement, she served with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office and the Kentucky Court of Justice. A law enforcement career turns out to be strong preparation for wildlife control: careful observation, attention to detail, methodical problem solving, and a calm, professional presence on what is often a homeowner's worst day. She holds a Kentucky Commercial Wildlife Control Operator permit. Tanya is a 23-year resident of Anderson County, and her hobbies include the outdoors, wildlife conservancy, camping, and hiking, including thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2025.

Wildlife Detection Dog
Scarlet is our rescue Staffordshire Terrier that we have trained to detect and remove small mammals such as moles, voles, chipmunks, etc. that are near or around residences. Her favorite past-times are chasing squirrels, destroying her toys, and riding with Jon to and from jobs. She also enjoys watching and barking at wildlife from her deck as they walk thru or fly over her yard.
Southern Wildlife Resources LLC was formed in 2007 by Dr. Jonathan Gassett to: resolve growing conflict between urban wildlife and human populations; manage increasing demand for fish and wildlife for recreational use; and specialize in conservation land management, planning, and education.
